Waiver and Payment Notice

For those using the e-payment services in lieu of an initial court appearance (arraignment), please note that you will be entering a plea of guilty to the charges listed on your citation.  You are admitting your guilt of the offenses charged and waive your right to contest the offenses in a trial before the court or jury. The Court will accept your plea and find you guilty of those offenses.  Further, if the citation involves traffic offenses, you realize that a record of this plea will be sent to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles.  You also acknowledge that you have not been convicted of, pleaded guilty to, or forfeited bond for two or more moving traffic offenses within the last 12 months.

If you do not agree to the plea of guilty, please arrange to be present at Elyria Municipal Court on the date and time scheduled on your citation for an arraignment.
